I bought these for my mother who is confined to bed and is liable to pressure sores, while I have no medical knowledge as to there use in these cases, they are very soft and can support non broken skin to take the pressure off sore skin. They have helped her to have a little comfort as her arthritis is very painful. I bought one of these for myself and a navy blue for my husband. We were going away to mexico for two weeks, so that meant 11 hours there and 9 hours back on the flight!
